Best way to lose weight

So what is the best way to lose weight anyway?  For starters, it is crucial that one eats proper whole foods in small meals spaced 2-3 hours apart.  It will ensure that we acquire the right nutrients from whole calorie dense foods, and which will give us energy and keep us in an optimal state of health.  This is what we should be striving for everyday!  It’s important to realize that you cannot just workout and eat poorly and expect to lose weight safely.  You also cannot just eat healthy and expect to lose weight without doing any form of cardiovascular exercise or weight training.  Both go hand in hand so it is necessary that you take everything in account.  It’s like trying to get to Europe from Canada.  You can pack all your bags and luggage and arrive at the airport, but unless you have a ticket, you won’t be getting on the plane and reach your destination.  In the same way, you cannot expect to just get away with just eating right or just training right.  Both have to be there.  Sure you may lose a few pounds here and there, but surely you’ll gain it back if you’re not focused.  If either one of those aspects of a weight loss program gets sloppy, then the whole program will suffer. 

It is also important to note that losing fat is different than just losing weight.  Sure anyone can lose weight by fasting on water or juice for a few days, but losing weight is NOT the purpose of fasting.  Its primary purpose is for purification, develop willpower and detoxify the body of toxins, which have been accumulated in the body overtime.  A side effect of fasting can be some weight loss, but don’t count on it.  What most people don’t realize is that when you go through these methods, is that you also lose a great amount of lean muscle tissue along with the fat reserves.  Once you return to a normal diet again, you will again regain the weight.  People think they can fast for a few days, lose weight, return to their normal diet, and they would magically have permanent weight loss.  It’s just not that easy.  Losing weight is simple but not easy.  It requires a lot of willpower to override any subconscious negative thought patterns, which limit us from achieving our ultimate goals in life.  The best way to lose weight is to lose fat while maintaining or losing as little muscle tissue as possible.  It’s a much more healthier approach and permanent approach to weight loss.
